Title: Senior Software Architect/Engineer
Clearance Requirement: Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI

Summary / Objective:
Senior Software Developer - Technical Lead Opportunity to lead a dynamic and growing team of developers on an exciting fully-funded Air Force initiative – using a cutting-edge tech stack. Experience running a team of software developers working all facets of a Client/Server software solution. Technical leadership experience and excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Required Experience:
- Work directly with internal program leadership and program technical partners
- Help define and socialize the technical tasks needed to accomplish program goals
- Assign, monitor, mentor, and report on technical team tasks
- Utilize Atlassian toolkit, or similar, to track progress/assignments (currently using Confluence and JIRA)
- Position includes an expectation for hands-on coding so current Java experience is expected. Experience in the below tech list is desirable.
- Some customer-facing work and briefings expected
- Occasional travel as needed (barring COVID restrictions)
Experience or exposure to any of the following is desirable:
- Docker – Container Management
- Kafka – Messaging
- Cassandra – NoSQL database
- TomEE – Application Server/Authentication
- Eclipse RCP
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other software development-related degree
- Experience: 5-10 years in technical development with 2-5 years as technical lead
