Far Bank Enterprise is seeking a Software Developer to join our IT team on Bainbridge Island in Washington state. The ideal candidate has a passion for development and would appreciate the advantages of working with a small, agile, multi-disciplined team.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for developing in-house applications and integrating the various information systems utilized by Far Bank Enterprises.

Reporting to the IT Manager, the Software Developer is responsible for:

1. Delivering on Software Development Projects

• Design, Develop, Test and Deploy Applications using both web and thick client technologies.
• Integrate new and existing systems to enable and enhance business efficiencies.
• Research and utilize optimal tools (hardware, software, services, etc.) for the projects
• Attend meetings and provide information, status, updates, etc. as directed by the IT Manager.
• Participate in IT projects as needed and as directed by the IT Manager.

• Support a Highly Available Technical System for Far Bank Enterprises

• Provide support during non-peak times to perform system maintenance as needed.
• Assist System Administrators as needed in supporting IT infrastructure.
• Perform basic operating system administration in support of internal applications.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field, or commensurate professional experience
• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of C#, Java, or C++.
• Experience developing web based applications.
• Ability to perform basic database queries.
• Experience using source code controls systems such as Git.
• Must solve difficult technical and business problems.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with:

• Three years of experience in software development
• Experience working with ERP or finance systems
• Oracle Database experience
• Understanding of web services, include SOAP and REST.
• Developing applications using Microsoft technologies, including C# and ASP.Net MVC.
