Senior SQL DBA (Perm Role-Remote) Act as an SME for a Multinational Organisation to work in all aspects of database management. Provide expertise in DB Design, backup-disaster-security recovery.
Coach and mentor newer team members in a challenging and regarding business environment.
Opportunity to work from Ireland, Spain or Portugal
Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the company's tech and security protocols
- On-call support for the production setting
- Extensive background in IT strategy, methodologies, architectures, infrastructure, recovery systems-backup, replication, HA technology
- High level of understanding of a global working environment
- High proficiency with DynamoDB, Postgres and Redshift
- Deep understanding of OS-DBMS technologies (AWS tech stack)
- Design, test and implement the companies DB's
- Must be flexible to support out of hours to support the business
- English language essential; Spanish and Portuguese beneficial
- Travel requirements with the role
