We are looking for Part Time Servers and/or Bartenders to work 25-30 hours per week during our Morning and/or Evening shifts at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Compensation: $10.00 per hour plus tips

Position Overview:

Responsible for effectively promoting, taking, and delivering food and beverage orders. Responsible for processing all checks, handling all cash transactions accurately during shift and ensuring a quality experience for our guests.

Essential Job Functions:

• Accurately and quickly take and place all food orders with the kitchen, according to the prescribed procedures.
• Accurately and quickly take, place and prepare beverage orders at the bar area.
• Answer all questions about cooking methods, menu items, specials and prices of all items.
• Check food to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct and deliver food orders in a timely fashion.
• Prepare the guest check accurately and present it to the guest before their departure.
• Process all checks; follow all cash handling procedures.
• Collect payment from guest.
• Ensure all checks are closed to the proper account.
• Maintain all inventories of needed supplies at cashier stand/bar.
• Notify a supervisor or manager of any guest problems/issues.
• Complete daily checklist duties as given by manager or supervisor.

In addition to the performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions:

• Clean, clear and reset dining room tables and/or the bar area.
• Assist in seating and greeting guest.
• Clean and restock service items.
• Be familiar with facilities, their hours and location; provide information to guests as needed.
• Seat guest in absence of host/hostess
