Server/Network Analyst

MUST RESIDE in the State of Michigan
Wayne (3 Days)/Remote (2 Days - could grow to 4 Days)

A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position. In addition, NO C2C or 3rd parties please.

Plan, install, maintain, and provide problem-solving services for network, network security, server management, and data communication systems

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a technology-related field; or other equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired

Experience Required:

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in network, server management, computer hardware, or network security systems required
• Computer architecture concepts
• Windows Server configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Windows and Linux environments
• Network design and implementation
• VMware configuration and monitoring
• Storage Area Network (SAN) configuration, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting

Experience Desired:

• Configuration of network switches, routers, firewalls, and enterprise wireless technology
• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• Application of current security principles, techniques, and protocols

Ancillary Skills/Expectations:

• Frequent local travel required
• Demonstrated listening, verbal, and written communication skills required
• Demonstrated skill working with diverse populations required
• Proficiency in using the Microsoft Windows desktop operating system and Windows-based software
• Ability to work remotely 2 days with the possibility of growing to 4 days

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participate in planning, implementation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of VMware, Windows, and Linux operating systems
• Administer Servers using PowerShell scripting
• Administer Office 365 and G-Suite organizational accounts as required
• Implement, configure, monitor, maintain, backup, and recover servers that support the work of Information Technology and Information Technology clients, including both hardware and software components of such systems
• Participate in planning, implementation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of the Storage Area Network
• Participate in the managing of organizational licensing and certification renewals
• Perform site inspections, network modeling, analysis, and planning for technology implementation
• Monitor network and server performance
• Implement, configure, monitor, and maintain network security systems, including hardware and software components
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned
