Jerry's Chevrolet in Leesburg is taking applications for a Service Technician. Our Service Department continues to expand. The continued growth is attributable to the outstanding customer service provided by our Service Technicians. This growth requires adding the right people to ensure the ongoing success of our Service Department. We are seeking technicians to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair customer vehicles. Our priority is to provide high customer satisfaction by accurately diagnosing and fixing it right the first time.

Technicians with two-plus years of experience are preferred, but all levels of technicians will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and following dealership procedures
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate with the Service Advisor of any additional services needed so that they advise the customer
• Provide estimates of the time required for other repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-years of Automotive repair experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Fast, eager learner and team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Clean driving record & valid driver's license

Chevy Certifications are a plus but not required. However, the desire to become Chevy Certified is essential.
