Position Description: As a Mold Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift), you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
- Maintain thermoplastic molds to ensure consistent quality, output and yield
- Perform preventive maintenance on injection mold tooling
- Troubleshoot issues with the molds
- Set up molds per specific requirements and set up sheet instructions, including robot end-of-arm fixtures
- Communicate effectively with production team members, Team Leaders engineers, and inspectors to ensure quality installation of molds
- Comply with safety rules and company policies
- Collaborate in a team environment to meet or exceed production and quality goals
Position Requirements: This position requires the following skills and attributes:
- Minimum of 1 year of mold maintenance or set up experience in a plastic injection molding facility
- Demonstrate and apply the knowledge and skills to safely, effectively and efficiently disassemble, clean, troubleshoot, and assemble injection molds
- Demonstrate sound mechanical reasoning, knowledge of mold function and a desire to improve his/her own plastics processing knowledge as it relates to mold functions
- Familiar with hot-running functions, basic maintenance and troubleshooting techniques like probe tip cleaning, removal and reworking; and basic electrical troubleshooting on probes, heaters, thermocouples, and manifolds
- Knowledge in one or more of the following fields: Electronics, Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Mechanical
- Read, write and speak English
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Benefits: The base compensation range for this role is $20 - $30 / hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
