Sewing Machine Operator Duties:

• Operate industrial sewing machines and stitch heavy materials within a manufacturing environment to produce military tactical gear using automated workstations.
• Ensure quality control standards are met.
• Handle pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Cut and retrieve materials and hardware and places at workstations.
• Produce various item configurations.

Sewing Machine Operator Qualifications:

• Experience with multiple machines (tackers, edge binders, walking foot, single/double is a plus but NOT required!)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good eye/hand coordination, detail oriented.
• Responsible for the housekeeping practices and upkeep in their assigned work area.
• Ability to read, write, use a ruler, add/subtract, and calculate fractions.
• Good communication skills and a team player attitude
