Job Position: Shift Leader/Tech/Material Handler (Combined) Plastic Injection Molding 1st and 2nd Shift (FT)
Job Details:
- ISO 9001 plastic injection molding company is seeking qualified individuals for shift leaders.
- This is a hands-on, physical job. Leaders are on the manufacturing floor the entire shift.
Qualifications:
- Applicants MUST have at least 2 years experience in plastic injection molding, processing, and trouble shooting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The duties include machine start-up / shut-down, operator assignment, and process trouble shooting.
- The shift leader is responsible for achieving daily production needs while meeting customer requirements.
- The shift leader does tech work to keep machines running correctly, color changes, and keeps machines stocked with supplies. The shift leader fills in as needed while keeping the shift structure.
- Coordinating/leading shift's production (including machine operators, material handlers, and quality inspector).
- Maintaining safety, and producing high quality products.
