Barnstable County Department of Human Services is accepting applications for a seasoned human services professional for the position of SHINE (Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Everyone) Program Manager. Serving Barnstable, Nantucket and Dukes Counties, the successful candidate will provide management of the Regional SHINE program including the work of both paid and unpaid SHINE staff; development and monitoring of the program budget and program reporting; recruitment and training of volunteers; public education; and quality assurance. The candidate should be SHINE certified, or able to be certified. This a full-time, benefited position with potential for hybrid work. Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred; a minimum of 5 years of experience in health or human services or public health; or a combination of education and equivalent experience; demonstrated experience in public speaking; planning and conducting education and outreach, using culturally appropriate communication methods and multiple media strategies. Experience in volunteer training and management strongly preferred.
