Job description
Phoenix Group is looking for personnel to participate in a study for MARAD to upgrade Damage Control effectiveness on newly acquired Roll On, Roll Off (RORO) ships. Personnel with a background in Marine Inspection of commercial vessels are needed as well as have personnel with Navy/Coast Guard Damage Control/DCA experience and Damage Control Training. Proper background and experience are sought after.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate of Navy/Coast Guard Damage Control “A” School
- Navy Firefighting and Damage Control Schools
Skills:
- CAD Experience
- Experience writing briefs and studies
Specialized Experience:
- 15 years’ experience as a Navy/Coast Guard Damage Controlman
Additional Requirements:
- DOD Secret Security Clearance - Active or eligible
- Proof of US Citizenship
- Ability to work in a shipbuilding environment
- Compliance with Federal, State, Local, Naval Shipyard, OSHA, and other safety and environmental regulations
