The Shop Attendant position is responsible for providing support and assistance to our Service team within our Hill Mechanical Service Division. Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to are outlined below:

Job Duties:

• Maintain Asset Management system, recording tool locations accurately.
• Maintain organization within the tool storage/lock up area.
• Coordinate and schedule any calibration of tools as necessary.
• Repair and/or coordinate tool repairs as necessary.
• Assist with the coordination of efficient deliveries to the service personnel in the field.
• Work with General Foremen on the coordination of tools to jobsites and recovering tools as efficiently as possible.
• Forecast tool needs based on age of tools and repairs.
• Maintain inventory of safety equipment including but not limited to:
  • PPE
  • Arc Flash
  • First Aid Kits
  • Fire extinguishers3
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Knowledge about equipment, small tools, and warehousing a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Class C license preferred
• Forklift experience
• Familiarity with HVAC tools a plus
• Familiarity with computers
