Shop Helper/ Pre-apprentice

The role of the shop helper/ Pre-Apprentice is to gain experience in a shop environment and work with senior technicians at job sites, to develop the skills needed to enter the apprenticeship program and become a technician. This is the ideal job for someone who would like to become a technician, has some mechanical abilities, but has not had formal training. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, and is eager show up to work every day.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following,

• Cleanliness of the shop.
• Rental check in and out.
• Rental service.
• Daily shop safety inspections.
• Working with Master technicians as a set of “Extra Hands”
• Repair work in the shop as directed by the Service Manager.
• Parts runner
• Other items as assigned.
• * Salary is based on your experience.
