Job Title: Part-Time Shop Maintenance Technician

Job Type: Part-time (20 hours per week; Make your own hours!)

Pay Rate: $20/hr - $22.50/hr depending on experience

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled part-time shop maintenance technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles and equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Maintain a clean and organized shop per Lean, 6S standards
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs per written work orders
• Assist with inventory management and parts ordering (as may be required)

Requirements:

• Organized, and neat with strong attention to detail (“Lean, 6S Culture”)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Desirable but not required

• Experience working with small engines
• Experience in Equipment Operation (Skid Steer, Loader, Excavator)
• Local proximity to Suffield, CT

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
