To perform janitorial duties throughout the service area as prescribed by management to ensure the service premises and fixtures are kept clean and sanitary; to present a clean, attractive environment to the service customers and its employees and ensure that the work shift contributes positively to the best interests of the store.Maintain clean environment for employees and customers
- Dispose of used tires on regular basis as prescribed.
- Empty all trash containers as prescribed; Daily
- Empty and maintain oil and antifreeze containers and keep equipment and equipment room in an orderly fashion
- Maintain shop foremans office, also area by the tool room, parts and outside shop areas.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and submit requirements to supervisor;
- Always operate equipment with all safeguards in place and in good operating condition;
- Be knowledgeable of the companys HAZCOM program and adhere to manufacturers label instructions for the safe and proper use of all chemical products;Always operate equipment with all safeguards in place and in good operating condition;
- Perform monthly fire extinguisher inspections.
- Perform monthly eye wash station inspections.
- Maintain the shop floor clean daily with use of the Zamboni machine
- Perform other duties and assignments as directed
- High school diploma or general education degree(GED); or related experience and/or training. Valid in-state driver's license and good driving record
