What you will do:
- On-site field desktop support to customers
- Provides software, hardware and networking support for desktops and laptops.
- Installs, maintains, troubleshoot and repair PCs and associated software, networks peripherals.
- Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs audio / video / teleconferencing equipment.
- Initiate IT service management workflow process ensuring tasks are assigned to the appropriate areas.
- Support Windows 10, 11 in a Domain Environment, Office 365, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Intune, 2FA, VPN. Microsoft Teams, Adobe Reader, Service Now, Encryption/ decryption & system imaging software,
- Mobile device management experience, IOS, Android, VoIP.
- Ensures customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction via ticketing system.
Who you are:
- GED or High school graduated
- 3 years of experience repairing PC´s in a customer environment of 1,500 + devices.
- Solid understanding of ticketing systems
- Previous project experience, can delegate project work to team members to assist, and ensure project remains on course to meet dates
- Solid oral and written communications skills, can interface at the Client director level
- Capable of running reports from ticket systems to support management , excel , pivot tables, etc.
- Physically able to move PC’s 8 hours per day – Under desk, lifting and relocating devices.
- Solid skills applying encryption tools
- Solid skill applying Anti- Virus software
- Solid Skills building and Imaging PC’s, working with client to resolve issues for new hires
- Capable to replace major components within a Desk top and laptop to restore service
- Solid understanding of A/V equipment and capable of testing, troubleshooting and supporting hardware
- Solid understanding of MDF / IDF Wiring closets, patch panels and trouble shooting skill with wiring component
- Solid understanding of IP telephony / install phones and log device in
- Follow floor plans to deliver service and or relocate
- A+ Certified

- Solid understanding adding and removing Workstations to a Domain (R&R Computer Utility)
- Solid understanding of utility data base to manage devices (OVCM Notification Tool)
- Build systems using Citi’s Common Build process (Laptop, Desktop)
- Solid understanding of licenses software and utilizing tools to manage. (CDP)
- Understanding of user’s workstation profile (HP Automation Reporting tool)
- Solid skill supporting Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7
- Solid Skills supporting Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8, Firefox and Google Chrome
- Solid skills supporting users with Wireless networking
- Proficient in ticketing systems (Remedy, Service Now system)
- Proficient at supporting devices using DNS and DHCP
- Proficient adding users to domains
- Resolve complex PC hardware issues
- Solid understanding BIOS settings
- Solid understanding of supporting IP telephony
- Experienced with testing and terminating of cable systems
- Understanding of Cat 5, Cat 6 and fiber optics ST SC LC Multimode Single mode
- Troubleshoot DS0, DS1, DS3 facility and circuit issues through remote test points
- Know how to punch down cabling on 110 and 66 blocks
- Able to terminate all copper cables using the TIA/EIA-568 cabling standard
- Able to troubleshoot IEEE 802.11 for WIFI access
- Telecom DS0/DS1/DS3 theory and knowledge
- Perform DNS and DHCP support of individual client facing devices
- Reading and comprehending blueprints and building documentation/Layout work
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP
- Networking Knowledge, Network Design and Implementation
- Basic router/switch interface configuration able to use the router/switch console support for off-net configuration
- Understanding of common teleco technologies: PBX, PRI, fiber op networks, VoIP, VPN, voice mail, auto call distribution systems, IP, QoS
- Understanding of telecom acronyms, terms and concepts
- Basic network troubleshooting (issue with router/bad network card drive, software settings, etc.)
- Ability to leverage and update network tools (Aperture, Netinfo, TCRS, DNS/QIP, Infoman, etc.)
- Knowledge of basic Avaya PBX commands
- Understanding of VoIP
- Understanding of VPN installation at home and how remote users log into phones
- Experienced with IP Agent application and functionality to assist customer with initial setup
- Solid understanding of A/V Equipment (Polycom, projector, touch panel etc....)
Work Environment
- At Client Site in O´Fallon - Montana
- Working shift Mon to Fri 8 am to 5 pm EST - Over Time may be required
