What You Will Achieve
As an engineer, your primary function will be to serve as a subject matter expert for your business unit. In this role, you will support the site and system on a variety of technical tasks and information collection and reporting. You will be service oriented; delivery focused and have the ability to build rapport with key members of the operations and engineering teams to implement changes and improvements to the site and projects.
As a Manager, you will provide guidance to operational teams for managing projects. Your planning skills will help in preparing forecasts for resource requirements, and providing areas of improvement for products, processes, or services. Through your comprehensive knowledge of principles, concepts and theories of the discipline, you will also work towards advancing new concepts and methodologies. You will be able to take a leadership role to facilitate agreements and consensus between different teams.

How You Will Achieve It

Provide guidance to and may lead/co-lead moderately complex projects.

Provide advice to management and meet short and long-term objectives and investigate matters of significance on behalf of management.

Perform needs assessments and audience analysis to define the problem or opportunity and identify the discrepancies between current and desired performances.

Provide technical expertise in the area of process automation and equipment development.

Provide technical support to partners within Engineering and Operations for automated systems during the life cycle of the equipment.

Resolve issues by engaging with Global IT support teams.

Manage the specification, development and installation of projects within budget and corporate guidelines.

Partner with other functions in the organization to ensure stakeholder product requirements are addressed and met as appropriate.

Provide consistent direction to cross functional teams and instill a spirit of collaboration throughout the organization.

Generate and maintain requirement and design specifications associated with the systems.

Ensure that statutory and regulatory maintenance compliance requirements are satisfied and support regulatory audit/inspection as required.

Coach and mentor technical teams and provide support for trainings.
Qualifications
Must-Have
-
Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience.

Excellent MS Office Suite Skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-Have
-
Master’s degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
-
Experience of managing projects including external vendor management.
-
Practical database experience, scripting, or general familiarity with virtualization technologies and IT skills.

Strong leadership qualities.
-
Experience with developing and coaching of technical teams.
