Hexagon enhances its website presence with a modern Sitecore framework platform for all its public websites. Built on Sitecore 10.1 with Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA), this platform powers Hexagon's web experiences providing flexibility, automation, and functionality to content authors. Hexagon's Shared Services team is looking to hire an experienced Sitecore Technical/Developer Lead to drive the technical implementation and architecture for platform. The developer will work with the Hexagon Shared Services development team and will be responsible for providing guidance and hands-on implementation to deliver a content-editor focused and modern Sitecore implementation that fulfill the defined requirements throughout the project/program lifecycle. This role is based in Atlanta; all employees are currently in the office 2 days a week in a hybrid model.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the technical development and enhancement of the Hexagon Sitecore implementation
• Deliver high-quality development of SXA components adhering to Sitecore best practices
• Be part of a team of Sitecore and front-end developers to implement modern sites
• Implement and support build and release processes for a globally redundant architecture

• 2 – 5 years of technical background and development experience with the SXA in the implementation of rendering variants, custom components, and pipeline processors
• Good understanding of the modern front-end development workflow and how to structure and deploy as SXA themes
• Understand the deployment process with Sitecore, Azure DevOps, and Azure Kubernetes Services
• Experience with development and deployment with containers and cloud-native concepts
• Knowledge and experience of integrating the Coveo JS Framework in SXA
• Knowledge and experience implementing large-scale multi-lingual Sitecore sites
• Able to implement according to industry best practice standards for serialization, code hygiene, and performance
• Nice to have: Azure networking knowledge, Publishing Service, complex workflow implementations
• Well-versed in modern Sitecore development techniques and best practices
