Purpose of the Post
To work under supervision in the Pathology Laboratory to assist with the preparation of clinical specimens for analysis. To perform appropriate assigned tasks and training under supervision using established procedures ensuring the achievement of agreed targets and standards. Performance of duties in accordance with the departmental standard operating procedures where attention to detail and accuracy is highly significant. Strict adherence to departmental health and safety guidance and GLP is required at all times
