The specific purpose of this role is to champion, design, deliver and manage a set of existing and new products relevant to the needs of small business. The role will initially focus on the implementation of the Bank¿s SME strategy, providing specialist contributions in product management and customer centric processes, with digital design, to offer SMEs a strong banking proposition. The role will require working closely with cross functional specialists and change teams to deliver on key SME initiatives, supporting the delivery of Revenue and other commercial targets. The role will also help to ensure the provision of products that are `fit-forpurpose¿ and are behaving correctly (resolving product errors, monitoring performance etc.) and supporting the management of product enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage key product lines for SME including Business Current Account, Small Business Lending and/or Business Credit Card
- Design and deliver competitive product propositions for SME segment using customer insights and frontline feedback
- Act as business owner for the end to end customer journey removing customer friction and simplifying processes and customer journeys
- Ensure that risks faced by us are appropriately identified and managed according to internal risk management policies and procedures, ensuring product suite is fit for purpose for SME customers
- Manage product economics, profitability ensuring competitiveness in the market place
- Manage product performance and develop appropriate MI and reporting dashboards
- Lead on the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting activity for the relevant products, supporting the development of remedial action plans where variances are identified
- Support on-going management of the Personal Banking RCSA (Risk & Control Self- Assessment)
- Maintain awareness of all compliance, regulatory & legal directives and support development of approaches to minimise risk and potential damage to the bank¿s reputation
Requirements:
- Experience and knowledge of providing product/services to SME Market
- Minimum two year Product Management experience in Financial/Professional Services
- Experience of Project Management of operational change
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to deal with cross functional stakeholders and external third parties
- Ability to deliver high quality customer collateral
- Experience of delivering New Product Approval Processes and/or risk assessment processes
- Ability to manage and communicate ¿big picture¿ while operating at a detailed level for key activities
- Solution oriented design thinking and process improvement skills
- Comfortable to manage Business as Usual as well as Change Projects in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of data requirements for Product Origination/Account Opening
- Experience of customer centric design, innovation and/or lean design/digital transformation
- Negotiating and influencing skills ¿ Knowledge of Regulatory requirements¿ CPC, PSD2, Consumer Credit Regs, etc.
This is a Permanent role based in Permanent TSB's St Stephen¿s Green, Dublin. (Hybrid Options Available within the Republic Of Ireland)
