Job description

We are looking for an experienced Smog Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a variety of equipment and systems, providing technical support to customers, and performing preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Preform Smog Checks on all vehicles.
• Troubleshoot and repair technical problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Install and configure hardware and software systems.
• Test new systems and equipment.
• Provide technical support to customers and staff.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No nights
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Tehachapi, CA 93561: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• Smog Check License (Required)
