Come and work in a setting that balances remote and in-person office time with community engagement around topics impacting health, nutrition, and physical activity. Work with a dynamic team to transform communities into their healthier selves. The NKFM?s approach includes policy, systems, and environmental (PSE) change, educational strategies, and prevention programs, as well as individual support. Your work will be to plan, organize, and deliver school-based programs, including both direct educations programs and PSE changes, in Metro Detroit schools and their surrounding communities.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

• Work alongside teachers to coordinate the delivery of community-based nutrition education and physical activity programs.

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver PSE change strategies in communities, schools, and early childhood settings through federal funding.

• Serve as a liaison between the NKFM and community partners for SNAP-Ed.

• Empower students, educators, and families to eat better and move more where they learn, eat, play, and work.

• Collaborate with colleagues from across the state for professional development.

• Deliver on a life-changing mission to diverse communities.
