The Social Media & Events Manager will promote the brand, build a social media presence, and help with booking events. A successful candidate must have an understanding of social media trends, be conversational, creative, and authentic in their approach, and be a true self starter.

This role would require 8-10 hours per week and could be the perfect fit for a student or someone looking for a side hustle!

Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall strategy of all social media accounts.
• Keep up with trends and changes in social media technologies.
• Use social media platforms to effectively communicate with clients, customers, and the public..
• Manage the full cycle of booking events including the research of open calls for events, application submissions, call scheduling, and final booking.

Qualifications:

• Experience OR active interest in managing social media platforms and strategies
• Experience owning/managing a project from start to finish
• CT / EST time zones preferred, but not required
• Must be professional, accepting of all people, a strong communicator, creative, and awesome

Pay:

This is a contracted position that would pay $20/hr + commission for booked events
