Job description
I'm am representing Jason Goudlock, an inmate at the Toledo Correctional Institution who has been unjustly incarcerated for 30 years now.
Jason was sentenced to an indefinite term of incarceration of six to 25 years, in addition to nine years of mandatory time for gun-specification sentencing enhancements. After serving approximately 14 years before his first Parole Board hearing date, Jason has been issued SIX sentencing continuances (“flops”). He is has served 29 years at present and has entered his 30TH YEAR, and he recently received another five-year continuance. Because of the change in sentencing guidelines established with the 1996 SB2 new law, this means he has served almost THREE TIMES the amount of time the current law now allows for a first-time offender convicted of the crime he was convicted of. In essence, the "new law" of 1996 created a disparity which causes TWO CLASSES of prisoners; old law versus new law. And because changes made in 1996 were not implemented retroactively, old law prisoners like Jason have to suffer ridiculously long sentences, multiple flops at the whims of an often politically motivated and corrupt parole board, as well as being targeted by new law inmates who have nothing to lose, due to their receiving short, flat time sentences.
At the time he committed his crimes, Jason was only 17. He is now 47, turning 48 in March. It is NOT justice that a man has to give his whole life paying for a crime that he committed as a CHILD. He did not rape or kill anyone; many convicted of actual MURDER has served less time. Jason has continued to languish behind bars, watching his whole life ebb away. It's PAST time that he is freed.
We are seeking a social media manager who can assist in our goal of getting Jason's story to the world, and who can manage the daily operations of his various social media accounts. This is not a PAID position; we're looking for a volunteer who is committed to the cause of prison reform and obtaining justice for the unjust and systematic kidnapping by the state of Ohio of Jason W. Goudlock. Of course, I will be able to work out a small weekly stipend, which will be negotiated with the applicant. Please contact me as soon as possible, and I look forward to collaborating with you and obtaining justice for Jason Goudlock. You may learn more about his cause by going to his website,
