FundGuard is the new generation investment accounting utility for asset managers and their service providers. We offer an exciting work opportunity where you’ll develop one of the more robust enterprise applications with deep financial engines, while using cutting edge cloud technologies.
What will you be doing?
- Own new and existing features from the drawing board to robust high performance, production-grade code
- Be part of the Architectural and design minds of the team
- Work closely with our Product team to research and design new core capabilities driving the company’s strategy
- Collaborate with full-stack and infrastructure teams to design end-to-end solutions that fit seamlessly into our clients’ workflows
REQUIREMENTS
- Solid proficiency (7+ years) in modern Java/ C++/C#
- Financial services industry operations or software experience.
- Technical and functional knowledge of enterprise investment accounting software
- Experience developing large, scalable, distributed information systems using microservices architecture
- Mastery of high-performance, reentrant and efficient code
- Competency working with state of the art source control management and CI tools
- Computer Science degree(s) from leading institutions
- Working three-four days a week onsite in our Boston office
Nice to have skills:
Spring (boot) proficiency- Experience with AWS frameworks such as Kafka, DynamoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and S3
- Familiarity with “supporting” languages like Python, shell scripting
- Experience with open-source frameworks such as Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana
