Overview/ Job Responsibilities:
Sev1Tech is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team supporting a critical mission. As a Software Engineer you will analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements and design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features. The Software Engineer will debug existing software and correct defects, while integrating existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have a Top Secret/SCI-Eligible Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to computer or information science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years combined experience in the following programming, scripting and query languages: C, C++, Perl, Java, Python, C Shell, Bash, and SQL.
  • Experience with API development and management tools, such as Postman and Swagger
  • Experience with Git and version control
  • Experience with cloud environments, such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience with BI applications, such as Tableau or Power BI
Desired Qualifications:
  • Candidates should be self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Candidate should have the ability to work in team environments across a diverse set of projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Candidate should have experience in/with: design and development of Microservices, developing Helm charts for Kubernetes, Scala, Typescript, Python code development, Buildah, proactive problem solving, performing peer reviews, managing code releases and deployments, providing technical and team leadership.
