Guidewire's development team is looking for a smart, proactive, and outcome-oriented Software Engineer to build sophisticated solutions for the property & casualty insurance industry's complex business domain and make our industry-leading SaaS products even better.
Guidewire provides outstanding software for the second-largest financial services industry in the world: insurance. We deliver the core applications that Property and Casualty (P&C) insurers use to build their products, sell policies, settle claims, and bill their customers. We deliver SaaS solutions via Guidewire Cloud that enable our customers to rapidly innovate and drive measurable value.

    • Craft microservices, components, & tools to automate our customers cloud product updates and code quality.
    • Maintain and promote a healthy codebase and ensure high quality of products.
    • Be responsible for full stack development; front end, back end, dev ops.
    • Be a polyglot cloud engineer, using the right tool for the job.

Nice to have:

    • Previous DevOps experience.
    • Familiarity with Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, Unit/Integration Testing, etc.
    • Experience with microservices architecture and containers.
    • Experience building secure software and knowledge of security practices.
    • Experience with both SQL and NoSQL persistence.
    • Knowledge of Cloud Services (e.g. AWS/GCP/Azure).
