Must Have's:

• Technical experience of Microsoft Power Apps/PowerAutomate/SharePoint Online, and/or Robotic Process Automation (preferably UiPath)
• Experience of leading a team(s) of 10+ developers in the PowerPlatform or RPA space
• Experience of working with business stakeholders to understand and optimise business processes in preparation for automation/digitalisation
• Demonstrated experience of being a thought leader in automation/digitalisation initiatives within previous employers, evangelising the benefits to both technical and non-technical audiences to overcome organisational inertia

Required skills:

• Software engineering experience in Cloud environment
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary, multi-location teams
• Great verbal and written communications skills
• Agile and DevOps

Desirable skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent technical, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities
• Willingness to build professional relationships with staff and clients
• Excellent communication, motivational and interpersonal skills
• Experience in customer facing roles and technical pre-sales a distinct advantage

Key responsibilities & duties include:

• Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team
• Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly and monthly goals
• Liaising with team members, management and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard
• Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible
• Analysing existing capability and scheduling training sessions and meetings to drive improvements
• Hiring, building and growing strong teams
• Technical pre-sales
• Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments
• Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting as required
• Motivating staff and creating a space where they can excel
• Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures and successes
• Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders
• Contributing to commercial proposals
