HCM Software Implementation Specialist

SUMMARY

The HCM Implementation Specialist will have responsibility for managing new client project implementations under the supervision of the Director of Professional Services. This includes but is not limited to performing workflow and project analysis, working closely with customers to coordinate project implementation activities, assisting customers with set-up decisions based on product knowledge, organizing, and conducting regular meetings throughout implementation and post go-live, and serving as lead on all product features. The HCM Implementation Specialist can work with minimum supervision in the performance of assigned tasks. The HCM Implementation Specialist is responsible for the overall success of new client implementations.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interact with customers and assist them in implementing and maintaining the PDS on-premise and Cloud-based HCM/HRMS applications.
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers while guiding and steering them through software implementations, training, and go-lives.
  • Possess proven skills in project management and leadership, requirements gathering, and documentation.
  • Ability to plan and lead multiple complex software implementation projects concurrently, using project management software to effectively track and report progress.
  • Ability to help customers set reasonable requirements, phases, and project plans for aggressive implementations.
  • Ability to actively participate in system development activities including testing (verification/validation), implementation, and quality assurance.
  • Demonstrate consistently effective verbal and written communications skills.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience as a Human Resources practitioner.
  • PHR / SPHR / APA certification is a plus.
  • Project management and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in the administration of Human Resources, Payroll and Benefits.
  • Minimum 2 years of software implementation experience required.
  • A firm understanding of MS SQL relational databases and their interactions with web-based software.
  • Experience with SQL and Stored Procedures a plus.
  • Experience with report design and development, specifically Crystal ReportsĀ® a plus.
  • Functional experience with standard web technologies.
  • Willing to travel to client's locations anywhere in the U.S. or Canada (Typically 10%).
  • Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • 4-year Degree preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Demonstrated skill in expressing ideas clearly and effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,574.03 - $109,862.03 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
