Software QA Lead
The EDX (Enterprise Data Services) at RTX is seeking a highly skilled QA lead that can wrangle the complex challenged at the heart of RTX's businesses and leaders that can help our group grow. We equip RTX and its business units with data-driven insights, tools and capabilities that derive value from data for operational efficiency and competitive advantage at scale.

We are seeking seasoned QA lead with experience in agile testing and test automation to help create an industry-leading data platform, products, and services. As a member of a collaborative, cross-functional team, you will help define the quality processes and test automation approach to assure that our initiatives are delivered to our business partners within a high- quality standard.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure the application meet the required quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Advise and assist QA Manager on status, risks and their resolutions as they relate to testing and quality assurance.
- Assisting in the overseeing of various QA systems projects of an integrated nature.
- Work with product managers and deliver applications with quality.
- Proven track record of enforcing automation to track and measure quality.
- Create automated tests such as unit, integration, and end-to-end.
- Audit automated tests created by others.
- Audit User-Stories for compliance to acceptance criteria, testing criteria and “Definition of Done”.
Basic Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle, agile test methodologies, tools, and passion for quality process.
- Possess strong math skills (analytics, statistics).
- Test automation with Python (ei. Pytest, Pandas, Numpy, pyspark, Behave).
- Experience with BDD methodologies (Gherkin, etc).
- Experience with test planning (Test plans, Jira).
- US Citizenship or Green card holder (Permanent Resident) are required for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience understanding AI methodologies, measuring model outcome and their performance.
- Exposure to CI/CD (Jenkins, Actions).
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience testing/using REST APIs.
- Experience using cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Awareness of Microservices architecture.
- Experience in Database technologies like Postgres, Snowflake, etc.

- Bachelor's and University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Technical, Information Technology, Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics.
Typically requires:
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
Engineering/Other Technical Positions:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Requires advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have broad knowledge of project management. Requires substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or
systems in order to provide enhancements within job area. Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years
prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a
minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
