What your day could look like:

• Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for automotive software and systems
• Developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and tools for testing software and systems, and ensure that automated tests are integrated into the continuous integration and deployment pipeline
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including software developers, system engineers, and project managers to identify test requirements, resolve issues, and ensure that testing is aligned with project goals
• Supporting a team of test engineers, providing technical guidance as needed, and helping to ensure that the team members are meeting their performance targets
• Monitoring and reporting on testing progress and test results and communicating testing status and issues to stakeholders
• Analyzing and troubleshooting defects and issues, and work with development teams to ensure that they are resolved
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization, and implementing changes to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in automotive testing, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE
• Experience with dSPACE testing tools such as ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, or similar tools, and familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing methodologies
• Experience with test automation tools and knowledge of scripting languages like Python
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience with software development processes and knowledge of software testing principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues and defects
• Experience with different types of testing such as functional, performance, security, and usability testing
• Knowledge of automotive software and systems such as powertrain systems
• Strong leadership skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

What will make you unique:

• Master’s Degree in related field
• Sprechen Sie Deutsch? German language skills are a plus
• Experience using calibration and measurement tools, as well as flashing tools such as ETAS INCA, Vector VX/VN, CAN Interfaces, UDS diagnostics
• Experience in working and collaborating with engineers and engineering departments
• Interest to travel for client assignments

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
