Overview/ Job Responsibilities:
Sev1Tech is looking for a Software Tester to join our team supporting a critical mission. As a Software Tester you will conduct quality testing and support testing current and future software applications and modules. The SW Tester is expected to have a complete understanding of software engineering principles, theories, and concepts. This may include supporting testing events, developing and/or mapping requirements to test cases, and writing/executing test cases. The ideal teammate will have the ability to understand customer problems, quickly learn new tools and technologies, and work both independently and as part of a team of testers and functional experts to rapidly deliver customer solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have a Top Secret/SCI-Eligible Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to computer or information science or related field
  • Experience in developing test cases using web based software and services.
  • Experience with demonstrating aptitudes to learn complex technical aspects of software application and systems.
  • Experience with and strong knowledge in structured software testing.
  • Experience using applications to track testing, such as Azure DevOps (ADO).
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience performing systems analysis and/or business process analysis.
  • Experience performing QA, user acceptance testing and/or independent verification and validation.
  • Understanding of software testing types and methods to support Agile Software Development.
