Solar Safety Supervisor II: EMT/Paramedic

Summary:
Implement the RES Safety Management System (SMS) on solar projects in the US.
Specific Duties:
- Promotes company safety culture through coaching, development, influence, and
- Assist in the development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and templates that include the Safety Program File, Site Passports, Emergency Response Plans, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Site
- Participates in safety related discussions at Plan of the Day (POD) Meetings, All Hands Meetings, Safety Committee Meetings, Staff Meetings, Tailgate Meetings, and Client/Owner Monthly
- Deliver training on Safety Initiatives, Site Induction, Work Procedures, Work Instructions, SMS, and regulatory
- Inspect work areas to verify consistency with procedural, client, and regulatory
- Coordinates and assists Senior Safety Supervisor with Incident Investigations to determine Root Cause and recommend appropriate Corrective
- Develop Incident Reports to support findings from Incident
- Drives implementation of proposed Corrective Actions to
- Implement Corporate Drug and Alcohol Testing
- Maintain incident data and safety metrics to compile weekly and monthly
- Procure, distribute, and maintain safety related tools and equipment (AED, Eye Wash Station, Fire Extinguishers, First Aid Kits, ) for the project.
- Performs any other job-related duties/functions requested by Senior Safety Supervisor and/or HSQE

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of Construction Industry or equivalent experience (required).
- Minimum of 3 years of Renewable Energy Industry experience (preferred).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or similar (preferred).
- Current FA/CPR/AED Certification (preferred).
- Current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Paramedic Experience (preferred).
- CHST/CUSP/OHST Certification (preferred).
- OSHA 30/510 (preferred).
- Fall Prevention/Climbing/Rescue Training (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license (required).
- Eligible for corporate vehicle insurance coverage (required).
Physical Requirements and Work Environment: The work environment and physical demands characteristics are representative of those the employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Performs primarily sedentary office duties with occasional travel to other Company offices or construction sites. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds and required to sit, stand, walk and use a computer. Construction site environment includes early stage permitting, development and auditing through finished roads and features. Extensive travel with driving to remote sites along with office work in field conditions is also included.RES maintains a drug-free work environment. Candidates will be required to pass a pre- employment background investigation and drug test as a condition of employment.
Anticipated base salary range: $77,000 - $100,000 per year
Per Diem: $153.57 for housing, meals, rotation home
Schedule: 21 days on/4 days off
Locations: Faraday, UT, Atrisco, NM, Crossett, AR, Artesia, MS
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
