Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting, understanding, and optimizing Gray enterprise-wide applications (CMiC, Procore, Dynamics CRM, and others). With the goal of improving corporate collaboration, this individual will function as the technical expert to address requirements of the enterprise-wide systems including design, integrations, code, configuration, testing, and implementation. The individual will adhere to compliance standards/practices, maintaining internal control processes to ensure data integrity.
This individual serves as a technical resource by assisting internal customers with troubleshooting and fixing problems. This position will strategize and collaborate with the product owners and business analysts on ideas to improve system(s) use and business operations by meeting with company executives and other stakeholders to provide suggestions based on the analysis.

Essential Functions
Serves as technical expert on the enterprise-wide applications understanding the applications, databases and integrations across Gray. This individual works closely with the product owners and business analysts to understand and explain the application, data and processes.
  • Supports, understands, and optimizes the Gray enterprise-wide applications (CMiC, Procore, Dynamics CRM, and others); technical expert to address requirements of the applications including design, code, configuration, testing, and implementation.
  • Build partnerships and relationships with business and IS leadership.
  • Leads direct staff and project teams in the design, development, customization, configuration, implementation, and integrations of applications designed to advance business initiatives.
  • Establish, govern and manage software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and metrics that measure and improve team performance.
  • Understand the QA process and ensure that it is defined, reviewed and successfully executed through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Creates, enhances, and supports application integrations.
  • Follow data flows through systems that match business processes to help fully understand the impacts of proposed changes and/or integrations.
  • Extract data to be used for integrations, troubleshooting, and reporting.
  • Works with product owners and business analysts to evaluate new functionality and system enhancements.
  • Works with product owners and business analysts to research, document, and resolve system and data issues.
  • Assists with system implementations and upgrades.
  • Builds dashboards in Business Intelligence environment regarding various metrics.
  • Compiles complex data reports, summaries and logs for senior leadership.
  • Fosters a working relationship with vendor(s) and works with vendor system support to resolve questions and issues.
  • Provides ad hoc training to new and existing users of the systems.
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements to protect data.
  • Research and participate in the vendor communities to resolve issues where answers are unknown and implement solutions.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in application providers, vendors, and technology.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience supporting enterprise-level applications.
  • Informatica experience preferred.
  • CMiC experience preferred.
  • Agile/Scrum experience preferred.
  • Procore experience preferred.
  • Construction systems experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft architecture and the .NET framework
  • Technically savvy with a solid understanding of database concepts and design, standard programming practices and SDLC, API development, SQL and/or PL/SQL, application configuration and administration, cybersecurity, and data analysis
  • Must be well organized, efficient, results and detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as a member of a team
  • Strong leadership and people skills; ability to interact, influence and collaborate with all levels across the organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively articulate functional and technical information to a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent in writing effective documentation including but not limited to requirements, process flow maps, and use cases.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Effective change management skills, analytical skills & process orientation.
  • Effective problems solving skills.
  • Must have an ability to educate their coworkers, have patience and the capability to support end-users.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. The team member is occasionally exposed to high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. The noise level is generally moderate to loud. Overtime may be required.
