Sous Chef - Montrose Colorado

Golf Resort and Country Club- Remington's Restaurant at The Bridges in Montrose, CO is a full service restaurant that host a variety events, corporate outings and weddings. Remington's is an award winning restaurant that serves lunch and dinner daily along with a Sunday Brunch and is considered one of the finest restaurants in the area. The Bridges is an 18 Hole Championship Nicklaus Design Golf Club with numerous hazards and amazing views of the San Juan Mountain Range. We are looking for a full time, year round Sous Chef ready to advance their career. Candidates must have experience in quality restaurant operations. Candidates must posses advanced culinary skills. Catering and Banquet Knowledge is preferred. Main Duties:

* Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks

* Cooking and preparing high quality dishes

* Supervising all kitchen stations

* Assisting Executive Chef to create menu items, receipes and event menus

* Being responsible for healh, safety and food hygiene practices

* Assisting and determining food inventory needs, stocking anf ordering

* Hold and mainatin ServSafe license

* Team Player with positive and approachable manner

Montrose sits in a beautiful valley 60 miles north of Telluride and 70 miles south of Grand Junction. Montrose offers an affordable lifestyle in a beautiful area of Colorado that highlights a variety of recreational activities.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
