Position Description
TherapyTravelers is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for several contract Special Education Teachers for the 2022-2023 school year. Great area located on the coast of SC near Charleston.
- Location: Monks Corner, SC
- Duration: Immediately - June 1, 2023
- Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
- Full or Part Time: Full Time
- Schedule: 40 hours/week
Position 1
- Grade/Age Levels: Elementary
- Caseload description: Emotional Disability Self Contained (EDSC)
Position 2
- Grade/Age Levels: Preschool
- Caseload description: Self Contained (PSSC) or Mild Intellectual Disability (MLD/SC)
Position 3
- Grade/Age Levels: Preschool
- Caseload description: Self Contained (PSSC)
Position 4
- Grade/Age Levels: Elementary
- Caseload description: Moderate/Severe Self Contained (MSD)
Position 5
- Grade/Age Levels: High School
- Caseload description: Moderate/Severe Self Contained (MSD)
Position 6
- Grade/Age Levels: Kinder to 2nd-grade
- Caseload description: Contained classroom

Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for a Special Education (SPED) Teacher:
- 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Special Education Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
- Valid Special Education Teacher credential/license or in process in the state of practice
