Core Job Responsibilities
Manage Safety Equipment
o Calibration of gas monitors
o Inspection/Inventory – Confined Space Rescue Equipment
o Medical Emergency Equipment
- Perform inspections and audits
o Participate in DMS (Daily Management System) walks with Management Team
o Assist Safety Manager with annual completion of Reg Auditor
o SES owner for at least 1 element
o Serve as resource for other element owners
- Training
o New Hire Orientation
o Compliance Training
o Maintain Training Matrix
o Develop training materials as needed
- Daily observation/interactions with workforce (Coaching/Mentoring)
o Follow up with employee concerns
- Incident Investigation
o Assist/Lead HOP Learning Events
- Emergency Response
o Inspection/Inventory emergency response equipment
o Coordinate emergency response drills
- Manage Summer Heat Illness Prevention Program
- Assist Safety Manager with Corporate/Site Specific projects as they arise
