Morris Hardwood Distribution has operated in Savannah for over 10 years in the specialty lumber, trim and flooring industries. We specialize in grading and pulling orders of finished lumber products to ship all over the country. We are constantly growing to keep up with the latest trends and technology, and our employee are resourced with all kinds of rough and finish machinery for woodworking.

We are looking for an individual to join our dynamic team as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate will have any experience in woodworking, carpentry, lumber order pulling, lumber/flooring grading or similar background. We are willing to train to our particular needs, but candidates must have background in working with wood in some capacity. For the right candidate, the company may pay for training.

• Ability to endure labor intensive work in an environment that is not temperature controlled
• Ability to be flexible in learning all positions- the candidate will ultimately be placed in the department that best suits their abilities.
  

The Specialty Lumber & Millwork position will be 40-50 hours per week. This position is hourly, with the potential to become salary after a probationary period. Starting pay is competitive and based on experience, ranging from $18-$25/hr, with potential for two raises in the first year, based on performance and skill set. Subsequent yearly raises will also be determined by this criterion. Available benefits will be offered upon completion of the probationary period.
