Position Summary
Responsible to promote, sell, and support Switchgear and Distribution Equipment and Services in conjunction with outside sales for and to consultants/engineers, contractors, and end users.

Responsibilities

• Serves as technical resource for the customer and distributor personnel for switchgear and distribution equipment.
• Complete job take-offs for jobs above set thresholds or with complicated/unusual specifications and assist branch personnel in job take-offs at or below thresholds.
• Ensures the general sales force (inside/outside) has a base level of switchgear and distribution equipment expertise necessary to support daily sales activity. Implements local training programs to address areas of need.
• Launches new switchgear and distribution equipment products to sales personnel within the Branch cluster. This includes product training, competency with demo equipment, and target account identification with sales personnel.
• Develops and implements the switchgear and distribution equipment products portions of the business plan in conjunction with the manufacturer, Outside Sales, and Branch Management. Responsible for achieving switchgear and distribution equipment products sales goals.
• Attends training sessions and department meetings as requested.

Skills/Physical Demands/Additional Qualifications

• Selling experience preferred.
• Strong Customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Driver’s license that meets job requirements and a motor vehicle driving record that satisfies the requirements of our casualty and liability insurance program. For the state of KS Class-C, MO Class-E & OK Class-D.
• Must be able to lift to 100 pounds on an infrequent basis and 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
