Are you interested in a New 100% Remote Sr Technical Accountant and Financial Reporting role ? This Senior Technical Accountant/Financial Reporting role supports this international company’s accounting and financial reporting functions and initiatives. This position, reporting to an Associate Director, will be primarily responsible for supporting the financial reporting process as well as contributing to the implementation and ongoing reporting related to the SEC's and other international climate change disclosure requirements.

Responsibilities:

• This position will primarily be responsible for supporting the preparing and coordinating of the quarterly and annual financial reporting process.
• Support the financial reporting group in the preparation of external financial statements and footnotes including Forms 10-K and 10-Q in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.
• Support the controllership function with project management and the implementation of climate change and sustainability reporting initiatives.
• Collaborate with a cross functional team impacted by climate change and sustainability reporting to facilitate the implementation and ongoing reporting of the SEC's and other international climate change disclosure requirements.
• Support the controllership in other ad hoc projects and analysis which may include technical accounting research and/or analysis.
• Support all other SEC filings, including the Proxy statement and 8-K's.

3+ years of experience from public accounting (Big 4 preferred)
CPA required
Experience in technical writing, presentation, and project management skills
An interest in Climate change and sustainability reporting and specifically SEC reporting requirements.
