Job Description;

Responsibilities

• Support the layer behind the UI presentation
• Not doing the actual design work or UI coding but should be able to develop behind that layer
• They are also looking for someone that has third-party experience. A third-party tool he mentioned was BDF
• API development
• Using Microsoft platform technologies (ASP.NET Web API) and Azure, design, build and modify existing business-tier components, Web applications, and database objects
• If necessary, create prototypes to validate proposed ideas and solicit input from stakeholders
• Excellent grasp of and expertise in test-driven development and continuous integration processes

Qualifications

• 
  Designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications and services using Azure services such as Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and more.
• Creating and managing Azure resources using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure CLI or Azure PowerShell.
• Integrating Azure services with other tools and services, such as Visual Studio, GitHub, and Jenkins.
• Collaborating with other members of the development team to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues that arise during development and testing.
• Monitoring and optimizing the performance of cloud-based applications and services.
• Staying up to date with new Azure services and features and evaluating their potential use in new or existing solutions.
• Providing guidance and best practices for other team members on using Azure services and features.
• Participating in code reviews and ensuring that all code adheres to best practices and standards.
• Collaborating with other teams such as operations, security, and business teams to ensure that solutions are deployed and operated securely.
