Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is 35.00-39.28. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.

Job Summary:

The Senior Proofreader will work directly with the Creative Director, Marketing colleagues, Copywriters and Designers to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all proofreading projects.

Job Description:

• Proofreading customer-facing and internal materials for grammar, typography, composition, content, and accessibility compliance, including ads, direct mail, print campaigns, stationery and digital for a variety of internal customers.
• Responsible for making sure assets follow approved style guide standards and trademark usage and are legally compliant.
• The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will have the ability to multitask.
• The candidate must have flexibility in a rapidly changing environment and possess excellent organizational skills. The candidate must work well as part of a team but must also be able to work independently.
• Project manage and prioritize work across multiple projects and must be able to identify and resolve inefficiencies and capacity issues.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proofreading experience in an advertising and marketing environment
• 5+ years of advertising and marketing experience
• 3+ years of Microsoft Word and Excel, and Acrobat
• Bachelors Degree Preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Workfront workflow system (or equivalent)
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Mac applications a plus
• Solid understanding of marketing communications
• Up-to-the-minute digital skills; ability to troubleshoot and optimize digital systems to meet department needs

Requires ability to perform data entry functions for 95% of the scheduled work shift and perform duties in a fast-paced environment with high demands and tight deadlines. Requires ability to view computer monitor for long periods of time without eyestrain.
