The HR Generalist alongside the HSEQ Manager, would be part of the senior management team.
Key Responsibilities
· Management, coaching, mentoring, and development of the HR Administrator on an individual basis.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for more complicated co-worker issues and the escalated point of contact for all HR general inquiries.
· Establish trusting relationships with outside talent acquisition companies in Ireland and the UK, and communicate often with the management team about resourcing needs.
· Offer guidance and direction on all internal recruitment and selection operations, ensuring that they follow to corporate policy and procedure, including interviewing candidates, giving feedback, checking references, creating offers and contracts, scheduling medical exams, etc.
· Oversee the onboarding for all new joiners and adherence to company process and procedure
· Supervise the off-boarding process to make that departure interviews are conducted, data is acquired, and so on.
· Ensure colleague records are updated in an accurate and timely manner and in adherence with Data Protection legislation.
· Develop and execute new HR-related corporate policies and procedures.
· Manage the organisation and co-ordination of the annual Performance Management process, in consultation with the HR Administrator and the leadership team. Initiate and drive quarterly ‘check-in’s and any on-going enhancements to the process as it evolves.
· Develop, implement, and manage company talent management and development processes, in consultation with the Management Team.
· Preparing and delivering HR analyses and reports as requested by the Management Team, and making recommendations after examining statistics and trends, such as lead times for hiring new employees, attrition rates, diversity, the number of training days each employee receives, statutory leave requests, etc.
· Coordinate all colleague engagement initiatives and events in close collaboration with the HR Administrator and Leadership Tea
Experience and skills
· A third level qualification in HR is a distinct advantage
· CIPD accreditation is preferrable
· 5-7 years' experience within a HR department of a multi-disciplined and dynamic organisation
· Ability to demonstrate proactive and responsive HR advice and guidance with agility to meet the needs of the organisation in a timely manner.
· Generalist experience across all areas of HR including talent acquisition, training and development, employee relations, performance management & employee engagement would be an advantage.
· Proven experience of extracting data to identify trends, present concise reports and provide insights as appropriate
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships with colleagues.
