The Senior Laboratory Assistant performs assigned tasks in support of daily lab operations under the direction of a senior staff member. The Senior Laboratory Assistant will work with various teams to assist in the maintenance of laboratory systems and resources and assist with preparation of laboratory reagents and solutions and aliquoting of specimens.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in a laboratory environment
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to adhere to laboratory policies and standard operating procedures
• Basic technical/scientific terminology knowledge
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client protocols and study data
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Good cooperative and collaborative skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to work without close supervision
