What will you do
The Sr. Manager, Customer Logistics is responsible for the direct supervision and leadership of a diverse team of Senior Analysts and Analysts located in Rogers, AR with responsibility for Order Management, Collaborative Forecasting Planning and Replenishment (CPFR), and Logistic Efficiency Improvement activities. In leading this hardworking team, the Senior Manager will establish leading customer relationships delivering upon our customer promise of an exceptional customer experience. You will own & execute an advanced supply chain strategy, innovate on customer enabling capabilities, and operate with a faster forward & digital mindset.
You will collaborate with internal Consumer Deliver operations partners to improve cost through logistics and ordering efficiencies as well as leading efforts to improve service. You will have end-to-end accountability through either direct or indirect ownership across multiple franchises and sectors. The Sr. Manager will achieve extensive customer penetration and relationship building across various levels of anagement and in the functional areas of replenishment, merchandising, logistics, accounts payable, EDI, and sales to develop customer specific improvement strategies and tactics.
- Leading team of order, CPFR and logistics associates responsible for key performance measures associated with service, growth, & cost (On-time & In-full, retail in stock, forecast accuracy, truckload efficiency, inventory optimization, etc.)
- Develop and drive a strategic customer logistics plan using knowledge of business partners to drive ongoing improvements in service, supply, delivery, and efficiency, as well as innovative uses of process and technology
- Lead and/or participate on key projects and build new capabilities for our customer base
- Personnel & team development: coach, train, mentor the team; PDP and development planning; succession and performance planning cycles
- Partner with the sales team to drive forecast accuracy and optimize the overall customer P&L
- Building and sustaining a Best-in-Class customer relationship partnering at the Director level in Replenishment & Supply Chain Flow
- Provide all levels of Supply Chain support to Sales to support $2B business across all Consumer Sector GBU’s via collaborative meetings; executive S&OP interaction, and as the key logistics authority
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS required
- A minimum of 8 years experience in customer service, forecasting, inventory management, supply chain management, logistics, sales or materials management is required
- Exceptional influencing, cross functional partnership, strategic thinking and managing complexity skills are required
- This position requires domestic travel of up to 15%
Preferred Qualifications
- MA/MBA preferred in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or other Business related field
- Prior customer facing experience in sales or logistics is preferred
- Strong data analytics background required; Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) are preferred
- Prior direct people management (leading direct reports) experience is strongly preferred
- Experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence Tools, Training or Certification is preferred
