As part of the Golf Irrigation Sales and Service leadership team, the NSN Sr. Manager is responsible for setting the direction and vision for the Global NSN business unit. This role encompasses sales, customer support, light assembly, order fulfillment, information services, training, and overall physical site management, as well as P&L responsibility. In addition, this leader works closely across the enterprise to improve the overall customer experience specifically across digital platforms that share mutual customers.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

• Lead Toro NSN functions including Customer Care, Sales, Order Fulfillment, IS, Training and International business functions.

• Develop strategic operational and financial plans using guidelines from senior management and input from subordinate managers to deliver profitable results.

• Review and approve budget and operational plans and requests from all functional areas.

• Be a facilitator and coach for subordinate managers by providing guidance and resources needed for those managers to be successful in performing their essential duties and responsibilities.

• Monitor daily activities in all functional areas by reviewing and analyzing reports and various communications, both internal/external, to assure that organizational goals are achieved.

• Participate in corporate product, project and planning teams as directed by senior management.

• Attend corporate and industry meetings, conferences and trade shows as required.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience in related industry. Masters of Business Administration is preferred.

• Experience: A minimum of 7 years of combined management experience in customer care, marketing, sales and/or operations with experience in marketing through an independent distribution channel. Must be profit-oriented, analytical, and creative.

• Computer Skills: Strong technical skills in PC operating systems, applications, hardware systems, protocols, and software licenses, as well as MS Office suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

• Scope: Global P&L responsibility leading a team of 6 managers, and 40+ indirect reports.

• Physical demands: The employee is required to sit and stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• Working conditions: Primarily office environment with occasional field visits to customers which may require being outdoors in inclement weather.

• Travel: 10-15% (estimated every 6 weeks or every other month) and could include including occasional international travel.
