Sr. .NET Programmer Analyst

MUST RESIDE in the State of Michigan
The position is a remote position; however, must be local as they do have an onsite meeting (Jackson, Michigan) once every other month.

A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position. In addition, NO C2C or 3rd parties please.

Looking for seasoned professionals (at least 5 years of experience) with broad .NET experience, i.e. web, backend, mobile, WinForms, bootstrap, ASP.NET. Our client doesn't expect people to come in knowing everything and they will train – it is important that you're willing to learn.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• designing, developing and deploying complex Windows form (WinForms) and Web form applications;
• carrying out fact-finding and program analysis of problems and determining the most appropriate procedures to resolve;
• providing technical advice and support to users, including creating ad-hoc reports, data analysis and correction, training and problem solving.

The ideal candidate will:

• possess a strong knowledge of VB.NET and ASP.NET programming languages;
• possess Compact Framework experience (a plus);
• experience with Xamarin (a plus);
• have the ability to solve complex programming problems (carry out fact-finding and program analysis of requirements and issues; determine appropriate design and procedures to resolve);
• be self-motivated to keep skills up-to-date (passionate about learning);
• be an active listener, strong communicator and have the ability to follow instructions;
• have a degree in a computer-related discipline or relevant computer programming experience (Relevant experience may substitute for degree requirement).
