About the Role
As a Sr. Salesforce Technical Architect (TA) you will work to design scalable and best practice bespoke customizations to Neocol clients, on the Salesforce platform or with Salesforce CPQ/Billing. This may involve owning portions of the design, or supporting the Solution Architect. TAs translate between language at the appropriate level for the client and the technical accuracy required internally.
TAs will fill the project Release Manager role as well. The Release Manager is responsible for the deployment & release management strategy and execution of that strategy on projects. They are responsible for ensuring all deployment and release management deliverables are completed on a project. They will work closely with the project team to make sure all work is being tracked and documented for deployment executions, and will work with them to resolve any errors during deployments.

Outcomes
In the first 90 days you will accomplish the following:
- Bespoke customization solutioning and development for clients in order to achieve client objectives and simplify client systems.
- As required, ensure a smooth build phase for clients and project development teams through leadership and accountability for solution delivery, utilizing best practices.
- As required, fill the Release Manager role on projects and use Neocol deployment tool(s) efficiently and effectively.
Day to day responsibilities
- Develop business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, application configuration, test processes and release management.
- Delegate to, guide, and follow up with other Neocol resources to implement any of the solutions needed to meet the requirements on projects.
- Provide accurate estimates for yourself and others to complete particular build tasks and assignments.
- Work directly with clients and the Neocol team to lead projects, facilitate business process analysis sessions, develop and deliver key components of technology solutions.
- Define and execute the deployment & release management strategy on projects and ensure all deployment and release management deliverables are completed on a project.
- Design and implement custom code solutions which leverage Apex, Javascript, Visualforce, Lightning Components.
- Lead technical process reviews and provide guidance on technical topics (i.e. data, deployment, single sign on, large data volumes).
- Perform code reviews for development work on projects.
Skills and Experience Required
Required (for TA):
- Minimum 5 years of salesforce experience (certification is preferred)
- 3+ years development experience leveraging LWC/APEX
- Experience integrating external systems
- Excellent and effective communication skills, with an emphasis on written technical documentation and/or end-user training material creation
- An organized, detail-oriented individual invested in the solutions they deliver
- Self-starter who is interested in continuous learning and development
- Someone who strives to release elegant and user-friendly solutions
- Experience deploying solutions from org to org, including deploying data to seed sandboxes
Optional:
- Revenue Cloud (CPQ/Billing) experience or certifications are a bonus.
- DevOps tool experience: Copado and Prodly are a bonus.
