As a Sr. Tax Analyst, here’s what you can expect to do:
- Prepare and assist with the Company’s quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and reporting requirements
- Maintain current and deferred tax accounts, tax reserve balances and any necessary supporting workpapers
- Prepare reporting and analysis of significant tax positions
- Proactively interact with the Company’s accounting and other personnel to gather information, resolve tax-related problems, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Research various federal, state, foreign, and local tax issues.
- Build relationships with various tax, accounting, and business team members.
Here’s what you’ll bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Tax
- 2-4 years of corporate tax accounting/provision experience
- Ability to multi-task while still meeting deadlines
- Financial analytical expertise
- Good tax research and writing skills
- Project management skills
- Oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Computer proficiency in both accounting mainframe systems and PC applications
- Experience with OneSource Tax Provision, Uncertain Tax Positions, and Workpapers software a plus
- Experience with Alteryx a plus
- Experience with FAS or BNA Asset accounting software a plus
- Experience preparing tax memorandums a plus
