Our client is a privately held corporation in the e-waste recycling industry and has been at the forefront of this industry before it was truly an industry. The family has been in solid waste management since the 1950s, successfully developing and operating the first privately owned transfer station in Orange County.

The organization operates a transfer station, the largest green waste operation in Orange County, medical waste services, and holds solid waste contracts for several cities in California. We are seeking a Staff Accountant who can join their team.

Pay: $28/hr

Location: Maywood, CA (onsite) Either resides here currently or open to relocating

Status: Temp to hire

Schedule: M-F 8-5

What you’ll be doing:

• Journal entries
• Month end closing entries
• Billing, revenue and cost
• Receive and apply received accounts receivable payments
• Reach out to customers about outstanding invoices
• Generates reports related to billing, revenue and cost
• Invoices
• Corrections of AR and AP invoice balances
• Run reports by client from Cycleution and Sage
• Performs other duties as assigned

Your strengths and experience may include:

• Must have 3 plus years of accounting experience
• Experience with Sage a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $28.00 per hour

• Staff Accountant: 3 years (Required)
